Chatham-Kent Children's Services employs staff in a number of different areas including Protection, Mental Health & Development, Administration, Legal, Finance and Management.

Our inter-disciplinary services are accessible, responsive and holistic.
We provide these services to those most in need, in partnership and cooperation with clients, their families and other agencies serving the people of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

You may want to join our Agency in the area of Protection if:

 

  • You have good child and family assessment skills;
  • You have knowledge of systems theory.
  • You have an advanced knowledge of child development;
  • You have the energy to deal with new problems that require creative solutions;
  • You have a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Social Work or a related discipline.

 

You may want to join our Agency in the areas of Mental Health & Development or Group Home if:

 

  • You have good child and family assessment skills;
  • You have an advanced knowledge of child development;
  • You have experience in providing treatment services to young children and their families;
  • You are educated as a Child & Youth Worker, Developmental Services Worker or Early Childhood Educator.

 

You may want to join our Agency in the area of Administrative Support if:

 

  • You have administrative, legal or secretarial experience;
  • You have the ability to work in a confidential environment;
  • You have excellent time-management and interpersonal skills.
