Volunteer
Volunteers are valued members of our team! Each day, volunteers give their time to make a difference in the lives of children, youth, and their families.
Volunteer contributions provide a vital link between the agency and communities we serve. Volunteers are special people who choose to contribute their time, energy and skills to the children, youth and families of Chatham-Kent. Linck welcomes volunteers from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic and religious groups.
Volunteers at Linck provide a range of services, including:
- provide drives
- assist with youth drop-in
- assist with child care
- organize and set up rooms and equipment
- help with special events.
Steps to Becoming a Volunteer with Linck
All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, with the exception of drivers who must be a minimum of 22 years old.
Steps to becoming a volunteer:
- Complete a volunteer application
- Attend an interview
- Provide references
- Provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check
- Attend an orientation session
- Attend additional training if required depending on the volunteer position.
Volunteers who will be driving clients will be required to provide additional documentation.
